Announcement on:Foodborne illness workshop


As per the federal law number (5) of 2008 regarding medical liability, and the federal law number (27) of 1981 regarding prevention of communicable diseases. And as a part of cooperating with other governmental entities, kindly know that that all private health facilities shall report all infectious diseases incidents, which include food borne diseases , through the online Infectious Disease Notification System in DHA, which can be found in the below link

Furthermore, kindly be aware that the Preventive Services Centre in the Primary Health Care in DHA in coordination with Dubai Municipality will be hosting several workshops starting from the month of October to educate all healthcare professionals of the importance of reporting food-borne diseases and the measures required for it.
